Summit Asset Management Acquires Fourth Houston Community
HOUSTON , Texas – An affiliate of Summit Asset Management acquired the 418-unit Village Park Apartments in central Houston last week. The recent acquisition is the fourth multi-family apartment community that Summit Asset Management owns and operates in the Houston area.
Summit also owns the Villa Americana and Coral Hills apartment communities in Houston and Fawn Ridge in The Woodlands, north of Houston .
Village Park will undergo renovations designed to update exteriors and interiors and add features and amenities that will be beneficial to its residents.
“The market fundamentals in the growing Houston area and Texas are very attractive. We will continue to look for greater opportunities in the region, where the economy is growing and the quality of life is good,” said Blake Brazeal, president of Summit Asset Management.
Summit establishes community-building relationships with local schools and churches and encourages youth-oriented activities for the children of residents of its apartment communities. It also creates neighborhood network centers that offer after-school tutoring, computer training, and adult-education.
The company owns multi-family apartment communities in six states, including Georgia , Florida , Mississippi , Alabama , Texas and Tennessee .
