Summit Asset Management Appoints Vice President

MONTGOMERY -- Blake Brazeal, president of Summit Asset Management, announces that David P. Garcia has joined the housing firm as vice president of acquisitions. Garcia was previously vice president of acquisitions for National Housing Development in Rancho Cucamonga , Calif.

“At Summit , David will lead a team of professionals focusing on multi-family community acquisitions throughout the United States ,” Brazeal said.

The native of Santa Barbara , Calif. , received his undergraduate degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and real estate development from the University of Southern California . He earned a graduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Summit Asset Management is owned by Summit America LLC, a private equity company with interests that include housing, manufacturing and finance.
