Summit Appoints Robinson As Community Services Director

MONTGOMERY -- Jennifer Robinson, daughter of Johnny and Sandra Robinson and granddaughter of Allar Tiggs, all of Jackson , has joined Summit Asset Management as director of community services. A veteran of the banking industry in Montgomery, Robinson will supervise services for residents of the multi-family apartment communities that Summit owns and operates in seven states.

“Summit encourages community services through relationships with local schools and churches and Boys and Girls Clubs and other organizations,” said Allen Smith, executive vice president of Summit Asset Management. “Those relationships benefit our residents and are what set us apart as a company. We are pleased that Jennifer Robinson has joined Summit to nurture such services.”

Robinson comes to Summit after eight years in banking, most recently in the private banking department with Colonial Bank. She is the mother of a seven-year-old daughter and treasurer of Bear Exploration Magnet Elementary School in Montgomery .

Born in Miami, Robinson is a graduate of Jackson High School, attended Auburn University Montgomery and earned an undergraduate degree and a masters in business administration from Troy University's Montgomery campus.

Summit Asset Management is owned by Summit America , a private equity company with interests in housing, finance and manufacturing.
